Festival of Flight May 6: Despite the cold weather 105 species were seen in the park.
1. The Ross's Goose that flew over the Visitor Centre has been hanging out in the area for a while. 2. Red-throated Loons were spotted well off the east beach. 3. White-winged Dove is almost a fixture at 17168 Lakeshore Rd and continues nest building activity. 4. Prothonotary on Tulip Trail 5. Yellow-breasted Chat seen at South Point parking area and or first bench. All the thrush's except Grey-cheeked were seen and 12 warblers. Woodcocks can be seen nightly doing their aerial flight several places in the park.
