Festival of Flight; Quite a few less warblers seen in the park today.
Cuckoos were the star attraction on Bennet Rd with both Black and
Yellow-billed spending a lot of the day close up to the road. A Connecticut
Warbler found on Bowman Ave. just north of the camp ground was singing for
about an hour and well photographed. Scarlet Tanagers were also present on
Bennet Rd. Numerous Tennessee Warblers were seen in the campground.
Whippoorwills and Woodcocks can be heard nightly in the campground.
