Weather: A beautiful morning, with many clouds and a nice breeze (though the direction was not idea). South and southwesterly winds throughout the day, which moved the clouds out by 11am. The afternoon was yet again, very hot. Raptor Observations: There were 180 raptors counted migrating today, the majority (150) being Sharpies. Of note, was yet another adult male Northern Harrier. Non-raptor Observations: A flock of 14 Am. Golden-Plovers was observed flying over the tower today. 4450 Blue Jays were counted, over 90% of which occurred before noon-hour. Predictions: Northwest winds predicted all day tomorrow, with a smattering of clouds in the sky.
