Brian Pfrimmer and I visited the Bracebridge Sewage Lagoons this afternoon for a few hours. In addition to the previously reported American Avocet and Brant, we also had a single American Golden Plover. It flew in and landed near us, allowing us to scope it briefly before it flew off to the northeast.
Directions with thanks to Barb Taylor: >From Toronto take Hwy. 400 north to Hwy. 11 north. Take southern exit into >Bracebridge from Hwy. 11 at Hwy. 118. Turn left onto Hwy. 118W. Turn left >onto Lagoon Lane by Seasons in the Country. (or can go to Kerr Park and enter >lagoons from there - see google maps) Cheers Ed Poropat Sent from my iPhone _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
