Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 6.5 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Dan Lumm

Visitors:
Many visitors got gorgeous views of an adult female Rough-legged Hawk, as
it hovered right over the tower before the winds pushed it off to our
north.

Weather:
Very cold...Strong bone-chilling southwest winds with barely any sun.

Raptor Observations:
It was a decent day for Turkey Vultures; they were slow but steady. 2
immature Golden Eagles and 3 Roughies. Local Osprey still around.

Non-raptor Observations:
5 Horned Larks and 12 American Pipits fighting the winds. A White-rumped
Sandpiper flew over the tower with a Dunlin in the early morning. eBird
checklist for the day here:
