I watched a classic female Barrow’s Goldeneye for about 5 minutes this morning
at Horne’s Ferry before it flew away with most of the Common Goldeneye towards
Cape Vincent (US side). A flotilla of mixed diving ducks has been at this
location the last 2 mornings but this is my first sighting.

Horne’s Ferry is located on the south side of the Wolfe Island at the end of
Hwy 95, and is the summer crossing to the US. Wolfe Island is reached by free
ferry out of Kingston.
