Festival of Flight May 5th (afternoon)

Despite low numbers in Rondeau today, the diversity is still high! The Kentucky
warbler was re-found today on the section of Water St near the Marsh Trail
parking lot around 12:00. The female Cerulean Warbler has been and is still
showing well at Beach access #2. Also the Summer Tanager has been viewed off of
Rondeau Ave in the section of field towards the Trailer Sanitation Station at
2:45 today. A pair of Prothonotary Warblers were seen packing nesting material
into a Nest box on Tulip Tree Trail this afternoon as well. Black Terns,
Bobolinks, as well as Eastern Meadowlarks were found at Blenheim Sewage Lagoons
around 1:30 today.

The Marsh Trail along with Spicebush have been both productive in the afternoon
with several warbler species and other species.

The Visitor Centre is still without power but is expected to regain power by
tomorrow morning.
We are hosting a morning walk at 7:30 AM tomorrow morning and a afternoon walk
at 1. Meet at the Visitor Centre if you would like to participate! There is a
10$ fee per person (New birders welcome!)

Join us from May 1st until the 20th for the festival of Flight!
