A single bird was found at Morgan's Point CA in Port Colborne this afternoon. I heard the bird sing once and it was later sight-confirmed by Jean Farnan. The bird was found in behind the pines, approximately 25m north of the small gravel car park that is located near the point on the west side of Morgan's Point Road.
Morgan's Point Conservation Area can be reached by following Hwy 3 east into Port Colborne. Turn right (south) onto Golf Course Road and continue south until it curves west and turns into Lakeshore Road. Follow Lakeshore Road west and turn left (south) once you reach Morgan's Point Rd. Drive Morgan's Point Road to the lake to reach the small gravel car park. Good birding!
