Festival of Flight May 7th Morning Report

A relatively slow morning here at Rondeau with the continuation of the birds
staying in the north end. Marsh Trail as well as Spicebush have a nice bit of
activity and are currently the best trails for birding this morning.

The Prothontary Warblers are showing well at both the Tulip Tree Trail as well
as Bennett Rd. Also a White-eyed Vireo was found at the group campsite area off
of Bennett Rd. This mornings Festival of Flight guided hike had a lovely start
with 56 species at both Bennett Rd as well as Marsh Trail. We are hosting an
afternoon hike at 1 today for a fee of $10 per person.

Join us from May 1st until the 20th for the Festival of Flight!

Hike Leader: Peter Simons
