Rondeau Festival of Flight May 7th Morning Report

A blur of activity this morning with a strong wave of migrants headed north all 
across the park. Several hundred warblers have been seen streaming across the 
high up in the cottonwoods, and tulip trees being primarily made up of 
Yellow-rumped, Northern Parula, Palm, and Nashville Warblers. A Prairie Warbler 
was seen on South Point along with 12 other species of warblers. A Prothonotary 
Warbler, Yellow-throated Vireo, Blackpoll, and Blue-winged Warbler were seen on 
Bennett Rd. Amongst hundreds of warblers, Cape May warblers, and 40 Indigo 
Buntings were seen at the beginning of Marsh Trail headed north.

The south end of Harrison Trail, South Point, and Marsh Trail are extremely wet 
and flooded in parts, tall boots are recommended.
