Festival of Flight May 10th Morning Report

A lovely morning here at Rondeau with a good number of birds moving through the
park. Maintenance Trail and the surrounding area including the Pony barn and
Log Pond have been the best locations for birding this morning.

17 Species of Warblers have been found in and around the Maintence Area
including a Kentucky Warbler at Pony Barn. A total of four Kentucky Warblers
have been spotted the past 24 hours including one at Black Oak Trail, two in
the Maintence Loop area, and one more on Water St. Summer Tanagers are
continuing to be found around the North end of the Park including the
Campground Area.

Its also worth noting that Eastern Wood-Pewees, Tennessee Warblers, Scarlet
Tanagers, White-eyed Vireos, and Orange-crowned Warblers are all starting to be
found in higher numbers throughout the park.

Join us from May 1st until the 20th for the Festival of Flight!
