Rondeau Festival of Flight May 10th Morning Report

A fantastic morning for birds in Rondeau. South Point Trail has been a hub of
activity, with several great birds that have been found. A Yellow-breasted Chat
was found at the Tip of South Point along with groups of Tanagers and flocks of
warblers. Mourning, Hooded, Bay-breasted, and Blackpoll warblers have all been
showing well on South Point along with both Black-billed and Yellow-billed
Cuckoos. South Point trails eastern side is heavily flooded and requires tall
boots to complete, the West-side is dry.

The Glossy Ibis has irregularly been this morning at Keith McLean’s
Conservation Area.

Join us from May 1st until the 19th for the Festival of Flight.

Guided hikes available.
