Hello, It's my first post here. I return to Quebec from my trip to Pointe-Pelee, and I stopped to Kingston to sleep.
At 10:15 PM, I go out of a supermarket, and I saw flying over the parking lot, and maybe land on the roof of the building, a Barn Owl!!! Directly downtown! ...Before to give more information, I would like to know if it's correct to write it in this mailinglist? Sometimes, when it's a "sensitive bird", and "maybe" nesting, it's not recommended, but I don't know in this case, and I don't know what is your policy about that... I was VERY impressed! ...I thought it was a gull... and to do a joke, I said to my girlfriend: "Look! A Snowy Owl!" She start to laught but we stopped to laught in the same time when we realized that it was a Strigidae! (Sorry! English is not my first language...)
