Hello,

Sandie McIlveen Haan and I are birding the Carden area this morning. Just south
of the Sedge Wren marsh on Wylie Road there is a Lawrence's Warbler. It was
doing the Blue-Winged call while I was there and there is a Golden-winged
Warbler in the same area.

Along Prospect road there are 6 Clay-Coloured Sparrows, 3 Grasshopper, one
Vesper and several Savannah. Black-Billed Cuckoo near the parking area north of
the main marsh. Willow and Least Flycatchers, 2 Upland Sandpiper, Brown
Thrasher. We had several Wilson's Snipe, 5 American Bittern, Virginia Rail and
Sora. Migrant warblers heard along the road include Cape May. Ovenbirds,
Nashville, American Redstart and Northern Waterthrush.

Good birding,

Jay Peterson

Wylie road runs north of McNamee north of Kirkfield. Prospect runs south off
highway 48
