It is a fine day again in Point Pelee, but the blustery winds have made birding
a challenge today.

Not many migrants have been located so far, but there was a report of a
MISSISSIPPI KITE flying over Tilden Woods. A YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was seen near
the bench at the halfway tram stop. A few birds persist, including the
PROTHONOTARY WARBLER at Bridge F on the Woodland Nature Trail.

A WHITE-EYED VIREO was found west of Bridge F on Woodland Nature Trail.

Tilden Woods hosted a CANADA and WILSON'S WARBLER on the west end of the
boardwalk. Oddly, a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL have been observed from Tilden
Woods for the last several days, giving wonderfully close views.

There were a few BLACKPOLL and CANADA WARBLERS seen along the various trails.

Several HORNED GREBES and all three species of scoter continue offshore off the
West Beach.

Good Birding,
