I've just found an American Avocet in a flooded field in Oakville, on Sixth
Line north of Dundas Street. From the QEW, take Trafalgar Road north to
Dundas Street, then left on Dundas and right on Sixth Line. The avocet is
in a flooded field on the west side of Sixth Line, just before 3380 Sixth
Line, where there's a sign telling you that the field is about to be
developed as residential properties.
