Just a mention that in our north Markham yard, we have had 3 Rusty Blackbirds, 4 Common Grackles and 3 Red-winged Blackbirds, amidst the Starlings and many Brown-headed Cowbirds (year round here) over the last two days. Extremely cold and windy conditions today, but sunny.
