Good morning Birders!

In spite of a dreary start the birding was excellent this morning with large
numbers of early migrants still passing through including HERMIT THRUSH,
RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, WHITE-THROATED SPARROW and early warblers like PALM and
YELLOW-RUMPED.

Many other migrants are being reported in good numbers. About 20 species of
warblers including HOODED, BLUE-WINGED, CERULEAN, PROTHONOTARY, ORANGE-CROWNED
WARBLERS. Highlights of the morning so far included LARK SPARROW at the Tip. A
PRAIRIE WARBLER was found along West Beach and YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was north
of the Northwest Beach Parking Lot. A RED-THROATED LOON was noted off the Tip.

Birding is good throughout the Park. Many birds first found at the Tip were
moving northward into the Park through the morning.

Good Birding,
