Hello birders:

The adult Laughing Gull that was present yesterday was at the sand beach
all morning. It was first at Beach 1 and later at Beach 3 roosting among
Ring-billed and Bonaparte's Gulls.

An adult Little Gull roosted beside the Laughing Gull and 3 Bonaparte's at
Beach 3 in late morning before flying towards Gull Island.

Other notable birds this morning include 11 Greater Yellowlegs at Beach 3,
one Red-throated Loon in alternate plumage off Beach 2, and a male
Blue-winged Warbler at The southeast end of the south-most Beach 1 parking
lot.

To my knowledge, the Piping Plover has not been seen.

Presqu'ile is well-signed south of Highway 401 Exit 509.

Cheers,

Ian and Sofia Shanahan
