Rondeau Festival of Flight May 8th Morning Report A cold and windy day here in Rondeau with smaller numbers than yesterday’s winged whirlwind. A Prothonotary Warbler has been showing well on Tulip Tree along with the female Hooded Warbler that has been there the past week. Another Hooded Warbler was seen on Rondeau Rd south of Water St.
A Glossy Ibis was found yesterday late last evening at Keith McLean’s marsh amongst Yellow-legs, Dunlin, and a Ruddy Turnstone. Three Short-billed Dowitchers have been seen at Keith McLean’s today. The south end of Harrison Trail, South Point, and Marsh Trail are extremely wet and flooded in parts, tall boots are recommended. Join us from May 1st until the 19th for the Festival of Flight.
