Rondeau Festival of Flight May 9th Morning Report

A lovely morning with quite a bit of action. Marsh Trail and Water St was a hub
of activity this morning with 22 warbler species including Blue-winged, Canada,
and Mourning Warbler. Spicebush Trail was also excellent with Hooded Warbler
and Bay-breasted giving a great show. A Yellow-breasted Chat was seen on Tulip
Tree Trail along with a Prothonotary Warbler.

Last Evening a Wilsons Phalarope was found at a flooded field near the south
end of the Blenheim landfill on Allison St. Also, an Eared Grebe was seen at
the Blenheim Sewage Lagoons. The Glossy Ibis made another appearance at Keith
McLean’s as well, last night.

Lots of action!

Join us from May 1st until the 19th for the Festival of Flight.

Guided hikes available.
