Rondeau Festival of Flight May 14th Morning Report
A few exciting sightings this morning. A Yellow-breasted Chat was spotted just south of 17546 Lakeshore Rd. A Golden-winged Warbler was found on the West end of Bennett Rd. The Summer Tanager continues to show well at 17458 Lakeshore Rd (stay close to the road when viewing). A Mourning Warbler and Clay-coloured Sparrow were seen also along Lakeshore Rd North. The high-water level, as well as the past few showers of rain, have made quite a few of our trails very wet and flooded requiring rain boots to comfortably complete, in particular, South Point, Marsh, and Tulip Tree Trails. Join us from May 1st until the 19th for the Festival of Flight. Guided hikes available.
