Rondeau Festival of Flight May 16th Morning Report Another a stunning day with some great sightings. Two Black-necked Stilts were found in a flooded field across from The Summer Place on Kent Bridge Rd. A Male Summer Tanager was found on Harrison Trail just South of the Visitor Centre. A Canada Warbler gave fabulous views at Spice Bush Trail. Both Mourning Warbler and Prothonotary Warblers were seen on Tulip Tree Trail. A Golden-winged Warbler was seen on South-point Trail along with several other species.
The south end of Harrison Trail, South Point, and Marsh Trail are extremely wet and flooded in parts, tall boots are recommended. Join us from May 1st until the 19th for the Festival of Flight.
