Hi all
I am at Amherst Island with Tom Wheatley and we are looking for the curlew
sandpiper. There is a bird here in basic plumage which I believe is a dunlin.
It is all grey but clearly shows a divided rump patch and spotting in sides of
breast and flanks. I don't know if this is the same bird seen earlier. Tom
tells me photos are posted on ebird. Might want to check before you head out.

There are 3 dunlin, 2 semi sandpiper,1 semi plover, 1white rump, 2 Wilton's
phalarope here also at the Martin Edwards reserve on the south east corner of
Amherst.
