I have just found a (presumed male) Western among the Semi-sands. A much more subtle, shorter-billed individual, with notch near the tip. A fun ID challenge for visiting Birders! Beach 2 continues to be the spot to view shorebirds. I will post photos of the short-billed WESA when I upload my eBird checklists this evening.
