The Black-bellied Whistling-Duck is at Sturgeon Creek in Leamington again this
afternoon. I just saw it across the water from The Happy Snapper marina. From
the building near the entrance, look approximately southeast across Sturgeon
Creek in the direction of the electrical box labelled “50 49”. It is sitting on
the rocks near a little bay shape in the new naturalized area. It is pretty
windy today so I imagine it won’t move too much.

The Happy Snapper marina is located across the street from the intersection of
Bevel Line and Monarch Lane, just before the bridge to Point Pelee Drive (near
Pelee Wings), southeast of Leamington, Essex County.

Good birding!
