Hello fellow birders.
Today October 24, after unsuccessfully searching for Franklin’s Gull( seen
and photographed yesterday at The Hagersville Quarry ponds, west on Concession
12 Walpole west of Hagersville) we did some extensive birding at the Townsend’s
Sewage Lagoons( west of Jarvis and SW of Townsend’s on 14 concession Townsend,
Haldimand County off hiway 6, south of Caledonia).
    We managed to see
A) 4 Cattle Egrets,
B) 1 White-rumped Sandpiper, plus 3 Dunlins, 3 Pectoral, 2 Lesser and 3
Greater Yellowlegs,
C) BW teal and 15 species of ducks
D] Peregrine Falcon attacking Cattle Egret, trying to kill it.
Best of luck
Luc Fazio
