This afternoon I was watching a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds mixed with
Grackles, and 1 single male, very black blackbird with a yellow eye. It was
pure black with a very faint tinge of rust on its back near the shoulders. No
purplish or greenish tints.
This was north of Brockville, Ontario in the edge of a large wetland on McKay
Rd between Mud Creek Rd and Jellyby Rd.
