...there's light at the end of the
tunnel. Some of you will recall that
I was facing eviction about three
weeks ago, and sent a post to most of
the lists I'm on to explain why I
wouldn't be heard from for a while.
Well, some of you came forward
off-list to help me out; some of the
help, I accepted (and as a result of
that, I should be getting a new
apartment within the next week or so).
Some of the help I couldn't
accept for various reasons (mainly
geographical). And those who check
back to my message of the 3rd will note
that I didn't ask for this help,
but received the offers anyway. I am
greatly indebted to all of you,
even if all there was had been an email or
post of support. At a time
like this month has been, it has helped
tremendously. When I am able to
get settled, I'll be reporting the
details...
...unfortunately, I'm still having a rough time with my
daughter and her
boyfriend. as they read my original message on some of
the
publicly-archived Yahoogroups and were somewhat ticked off that I
would
tell the truth about my experience with them. No details on that
quite
yet, either, but as a result, now that I'm active on the lists
again,
one of the things I'll be doing is combining the two lists that I
own
into one. Consequently, I'd like to invite all here, if you want, to
take a look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PullUpAChair/
and join the
list if you'd like. I've closed membershipping to my
BlacklistedTalkRadio group and ask that all members there switch over to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PullUpAChair/
as soon as possible...
...once again -- however you helped, if just a
word or an offer for
more, it's made it possible for me to get back into
the fray here, and I
greatly thank you for it...
