Dear Sheldon and Whoever...
I've seen KD posting here for a couple of years and also
posting in the past at another bi-group that's been around for more than 10
years.
I don't think there was any "scam" from him at all.
Or intent to scam or anything but sharing some hard times he was going
thru.
I give if I want to or stay conscious and remember someone
who put out their diffucult situation. Or i don't give and either way i
forget about it anyway, it remains my choice to give something or not and
if i give I don't worry about whether it 's coming back or a scam or just
someone's real cry for support.
Life in America is stressful and getting
moreso.
There are millions of us facing financial pressures that
overwhelm us; that's a sad real part of America.

Plus, it smells of scam artist to me. Call me cynical, but I've
seen far too many of these "pleas" for help on the Internet. Wisconsin
(if that is, indeed, where this guy lives) has plenty of social services
agencies he can turn to for assistance.
I have enough trouble dealing with the barrage of Tsunami Aid
"opportunities" being shoved down my throat every day; I don't need it when I
read my email, as well.

Well, some of you came forward off-list to help me out; some of

help, I accepted (and as a result of that, I should be getting a new
apartment within the next week or so). Some of the help I couldn't

like this month has been, it has helped tremendously. When I am able to

I'm still having a rough time with my daughter and her
boyfriend. as

Yahoogroups and were somewhat ticked off that I would
tell the truth
about my experience with them. No details on that quite
yet, either, but
as a result, now that I'm active on the lists again,
one of the things
I'll be doing is combining the two lists that I own
into one.
