Ryan: Thanks. I haven't actually fired up Light Table, so I'm not really clear *what* it does. The inline evaluation support is something I haven't thought about - I'll have a look at the video. The parts of Light Table that seem initially appealing are the interactivity of documentation and the search capabilities.
If BitC gets tied to a closed-in environment, it will fail. The thing that catches my attention about Light Table is that these kinds of features aren't limited to scripting languages. We can do an awful lot of those kinds of things for statically typed and/or statically compiled languages as well, and it mostly hasn't been done before. Or at least it hasn't been shipped to the public. shap
