Last time I tried tramp, you could not use it with ssh unless
passwordless login was enabled. Is this still true?
emacs 21 sucks. I have made 2 aborted attempts to use it, but found
it sluggish and I hate the navigation bar. Have you figured out how
to turn it off? There is a cool chess package by John Wiegley, which
requires 21, that I want to play, and ibuffer is now no longer under
separate development, having merged into the 21 tree, so I'll have to
migrate eventually. Ouch.
