Up until today I've had this little Compaq Pentium II computer. The last time I had IS come out and look at my computer, the tech guy said that my computer was degenerating. Who knew that could happen? He was completely baffled when I lost my vertical scroll bar on Microsoft Word. So, for the past few months, I've been having to use the page down buttons when using Word, and sometimes when reading my e-mail on outlook. Fortunately, I was on the roll out list for new computers, and today I was pleased to get my new IBM computer. :) No need to beg the IS guy for a sound card (which I had to do with my last computer). No CD burner, but at least it came with a CDROM drive (don't laugh, the fellows' computer came *without* a CDROM drive!). So, Amit and Lisa, CHLA must've contracted with IBM to supply our hospital with computers.
