even if it is a dhcp address, the chances of the address changing often
are relatively low. usually, even with dhcp, you retain the same dhcp
address until they renumber. in my experience, most isp's that do it this
way renumber no more than once a month but your mileage may vary.

incidentally, what prompted you to want to backtrack to them? if it is a
windows box, there are some crafty things you can do to it to gain
information about the box/user if it isn't properly configured. very few
are, actually.

nmap it and see if it can be fingerprinted.
