John Wilson, 36, confessed to breaking the skull of oil company analyst John Evans. Wilson claimed Evans networked a trio of computers, including Wilson's, and installed a backdoor file to give Evans remote access to his machine. Evans laughed off Wilson's claim, and during a confrontation, an enraged Wilson picked up an ax used to pull up carpeting and struck Evans, fracturing his skull. Wilson, who now awaits sentencing, claims the act wasn't premeditated.
