Sure, sure, I know, but it's not the same. You can only zoom to the center, and you have to move your mouse from the image to the zoom bar to alternate between pan and zoom.
What would be really neat is if it could capture the scrollwheel input and use that. W and S come to mind as well, as any fps gamer would adjust well to it.
