WOW! this group is really helpful while I was just trying to sing one v-pri contract. So I have stopped myself and I will wait for you guys to land on some recommendations on some good provider? Do we have a Canada Wide V-PRI as well? I was just trying to sign one for GTA but somebody told me that with a little bit more I can get a Canada wide PRI as well. Also, do you guys know if we have a similar product for US as well? like US wide v-pri or something like that. May be I am just dreaming here but no harm to ask Syed ZIA

For those considering v-pri: And yes... the ones who know their service is SOLID, will not be afraid to give out test accounts. Most are quick to having you sign a contract... so its important for people in here if they are getting into the VPRI portion to complement their business, to ABSOLUTELY make sure you have tested the service first. While testing... run packet analysis so you know where the traffic is coming from and note your arrival IP for data traffic. If for any reason quality degrades when you have placed your order, run your packet analysis again and see the arrival IP... and if it differs from the test IPs, then you know they put you on a different switch. If they deny you were moved to a different switch - then you know who they are! ;). Cheers! Most of bells core is now ip :) Virtual pris are wicked when you can get them on a solid network Most people become scepticle of sip channels because certain providers have bad quaility sip trunks, this is a known issue with said providers and its usually due to the fact they are either reselling someone else service or they just have poor networks.. One should always try and sqeek out a test account when selecting a virtual provider and always at least run some programs prior to install like mtr to check for latency accross hops and packet loss to the said providers ip switch and target install location; This will ensure you atleast that your own route to the provider is not gimped.
