Does anyone know if it's possible to get an in-person look at one of these 
devices?

On paper they sound great, but I have had a lot of problems with poor sound 
quality, bad reliability, or a general lack of durability with most phones on 
the market today.  Would they consider brining one out to a meeting some 
time?
