We are all hear to learn and share, would you please inform the group the brand name of ear tag you use and the proper placement?  Some of us are not as experienced as you and your family.

Would it be possible to see a picture of the proper placement of a tag......   I have worked with cattle and horses for 45 years, and I have never seen an ear tag last as long as the animal...   They have all pulled out eventually.   I just don't think it is very effective to install ear tags on my replacement ewes and then find that 100% are missing one month later, and all but 2 have ripped ears.......

Please enlighten me as to the proper procedure....
