I noticed that Openbox has a note on this focus flickering issue in
their changelog file under 2.1.0 changes.

" * Better workspace changing for sticky windows, don't unmap/remap
them, causing them to flicker. But keep sloppy focus working right still."
Openbox I believe is based on blackbox 0.65; might it be possible that
a similar situation is occuring in blackbox but with non sticky windows?
Specifically, might there be a map/umap issue when changing workspaces
in blackbox?
