Hi all,
I'm trying to install blackbox0.65 but I've some problems; in details:
I use Slackware 8.1 and:
/usr/local/> tar xvfz blackbox.....tar.gz
cd blackbox...
./configure
make
make install
I get no errors.
Then I added a new file: xinitrc.blackbox, containing the line exec
blackbox, to the /etc/X11/xinit directory and I gave to xinitrc.blackbox
the execution permission (chmod +x xinitrc.blackbox).
The point is that when i launch it with startx my monitor flickers and I
get the console again.
I used the set command to verify the PATH and it contains both /usr/bin
and /usr/local/bin (blackbox executable is in /usr/local/bin).
What am I forgetting?
