Usually not. I notice it when I try to move my mouse pointer.

It just happened twice (not a lock up, just temporary hang where mouse
would be trapped in a window).

I am building qt3. The load was 2.86 and then 3.22.

In this case, my mouse pointer froze completely for about five seconds,
then I could move it, and then for about a second or two it was trapped
in a window. (Again I can tell, because it will move good, but will be
limited to the outline of the window's frame.)

Everything is working fine now. Load is 1.57. (Of course, load averages
don't mean much since they very from machine to machine and OS to OS; and
different apps behave just fine under a lot higher loads.)

Thanks for replying.
