I start X with something like xterm or bbpal holding the X session. Then from the console (not within X) I start blackbox inside gdb. Then I go to the X session and start working. If anything bad happens I do not lose my windows. It is important to have gdb on a console, because if the wm crashes and gdb is in X you can not access to find out why. > Another option is to use Xnest; view the man pages to get detailed > information on how to invoke it. > I have used X nest in the past, but I tend to use the above method more. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] List archives: http://asgardsrealm.net/lurker/splash/index.html Trouble?
