i think this is part of the problem the Gentoo folx had:
everyone expects continual development of everything all the time
& in fact some things -- Lynx, Mutt, Vim -- are largely finished products.
my impression is that Blackbox & its accessories fall into that group too.

it's good, i like it & use it to edit the menu & assign keys.
the  1  bug i've encountered is that assigning 'Alt-key' doesn't work;
also, it would be nice if changes took effect when you hit 'apply',
not only when you exit Bbconf; also, if 'help' offered some help.
but those are things users can live with till someone fixes them.
