Is there anyone there?

I was just checking to see if I had correctly subscribed to the list since I got no 
confirmation of subscription, no mail error message saying that my subscription 
request did not go through, and I've not yet received any mail from the list. So if 
anyone is out there please give me a 'holler' so that I know that I successfully 
subscribed to the list.
