Problem with Hidetoolbar Patch

Basically as the subject reads, I am having problems applying the hidetoolbar
patch for version 0.60.2 and getting it to work. I do a patch -p1 <../patch and
it outputs taht is is patching the necessary files but does not output that any
hunks are successful. Once compiled and I run the executable, the toolbar shows
up. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
