Update-menus runs a background job that rebuilds the Debian menus.
Many packages will do this automatically when installing a new
bit of software.  Sometimes you need to do it yourself if you
change things.

By the way, I just saw someone in my office running around in
an Atipa T-Shirt!  Cool!
