For example, when playing Quake I have Alt setup as my firing key, and as my workspaceChangeModifier -- you can imagine how annoying it is when, while in the middle of strafing, I try to turn, say, left. I don't particularly like the fact that the keys chosen for this were capslock and numlock, but I understand why (they are the only keys with that toggle behaviour). It can be annoying trying to type something all in caps, or using the keypad, and then try to change workspaces.
