color map in Blackbox

        Hello, I have BB running on RH Linux 6.1. My system can only
display 256 colors, and blackbox seems to have issues with this when I
run, say, gimp and netscape at the same time. It will give the correct
colors for the foreground app but give all the background apps funky
colors.
 
Is there a way to remedy this?
