Hi
I'm new here.

After a long time building my linux from scratch
(www.linuxfromscratch.org) I'm trying to get a fast and nice looking
window manager that does not look too much like the M$ windows GUI
(I have trauma *grin*).

I found blackbox and is my favorite one. The only problem I have with it
is that I'm used to the M$ windows toolbar (which I think is a very nice
feature).

here is some of my questions.

0. how do you work with your windows I'm using the "sloppy with
autorise" and "cascade placement" that seems to speedup a little the
change of windows. but I still forget about some xterm (or small window)
behind all my netscape window
Netscape don't work well with "cascade placement"

1. can I have something like the m$windows toolbar with all the
iconified and open windows in there?
Ok I know about Gnome and KDE gnome they eat all my memory I'm on a
pII300 64mb ram no swap yet he he he... and I didn't install KDE for a
long time to see how it is now. what do you think about installing KDE
just to have that toolbar thing?
I'm also thinking of Icewm

2. If not can I set up with bbkeys so I can use a key to the icons and
workspace menu?
so I can open the menu anywhere and I don't have to move the mouse to a
empty space.
that can speed up my work a little :o)

3. I'm having trouble with Mouse on XFree is fast and slow at the same
time. I can't get used to it. how do you set your mice? I'm using "xset
m 5 2"

thank you :o)

English is my second language please be patient.
